Save the Date: Patient Education Event on BPH & Treatment Options – 4 Nov
Mr Rahim Kaba is pleased to be supporting an upcoming patient education event, hosted in partnership with Boston Scientific, on 4 November 2026 at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club.
The event is designed to help men and their families understand benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), why symptoms develop, when treatment should be considered and how the available options differ. Discussion will include the role of lifestyle measures and medication, as well as procedural treatments for men whose symptoms remain troublesome or who wish to avoid long-term medication. There will be a particular focus on minimally invasive BPH treatment, including Rezūm therapy, its potential benefits, limitations and the patients for whom it may be most suitable.
Mr Kaba has a specialist interest in modern BPH treatment. Alongside his clinical practice, he works as a Boston Scientific proctor and mentor, supporting fellow clinicians in the adoption of minimally invasive BPH therapies, and teaches at Warwick Medical School. His aim is not simply to promote newer treatments, but to help patients understand the full range of choices and select the right treatment for the individual.
The evening will give patients and their families the opportunity to ask questions in an informal setting and hear directly from specialists about BPH, the available treatments and the factors that should guide an individual decision.
